This visa is for productive, innovative, or research activities aimed at adopting or adapting technologies that complement or develop products, processes, or services that contribute to strengthening the country's competitiveness. Also for activities that contribute to incorporating knowledge into the priorities of national, regional, and territorial development plans; or for activities or professions pre-established by the Directorate of Migration Affairs, Consular Affairs, and Citizen Services, which contribute to the internationalization of the country.

V - Crew member Visa

This visa is for people who work on the sea, in the jurisdictional waters of Colombia. To work in Colombian jurisdictional waters as a crew member on a vessel, dredger, or offshore platform.

V - Administrative and/or judicial procedures Visa

This visa is to expedite administrative or judicial procedures before entities or authorities in Colombia.

M - Civil Union Visa

If you have an ongoing registered civil union or common Law marriage - Unión Marital de Hecho - for more than a year with a Colombian national, you are eligible to apply for the Colombian civil union visa.

M - Independent professional Visa

M - Parent of a Colombian national by birth Visa

If you incorporate a company in Colombia or buy shares in an existing Colombian company equivalent to at least 100 minimum wages, you can be eligible for this visa.

V - Business Visa

To carry out business activities, market research, direct investment plans or procedures, and the establishment of a commercial company, negotiation, contract signing, or commercial representation. This visa is intended for foreigners of nationalities that are not exempt from a visa for short visits, as established by Resolution, or those who, despite being exempt from a short-duration visa, require a longer stay in the country.

You are eligible for this visa if you receive a monthly pension from your home country's government amounting to at least $4,270,500 Colombian Pesos (COP) per month (2024).
