V - Internationalization promotion Visa
This visa is for productive, innovative, or research activities aimed at adopting or adapting technologies that complement or develop products, processes, or services that contribute to strengthening the country's competitiveness. Also for activities that contribute to incorporating knowledge into the priorities of national, regional, and territorial development plans; or for activities or professions pre-established by the Directorate of Migration Affairs, Consular Affairs, and Citizen Services, which contribute to the internationalization of the country.
V - Crew member Visa
This visa is for people who work on the sea, in the jurisdictional waters of Colombia. To work in Colombian jurisdictional waters as a crew member on a vessel, dredger, or offshore platform.
V - Administrative and/or judicial procedures Visa
This visa is to expedite administrative or judicial procedures before entities or authorities in Colombia.
M - Civil Union Visa
If you have an ongoing registered civil union or common Law marriage - Unión Marital de Hecho - for more than a year with a Colombian national, you are eligible to apply for the Colombian civil union visa.
M - Independent professional Visa
Foreigners aspiring to practice a regulated profession or, exceptionally, an unregulated activity, provided that the activity is of interest to the country.
M - Parent or child of a naturalized Colombian National Visa
If you are the parent or the child of a citizen who acquired the Colombian citizenship by adoption, you will be able to apply for this visa.
V - Unforeseen cases Visa
This visa will be granted for situations and circumstances not covered in the other categories. It will be issued exceptionally and only after careful evaluation by the Visa and Immigration Authority.

V - Airport transit Visa

The purpose of an airport transit visa is to enable travelers to continue their journey and reach their final destination by connecting flights.

This visa allows its holder to work in the exercise of religious ministry or to serve as a missionary of a religious entity duly recognized by the Colombian State.
V - Digital Nomad Visa Visa
If you are a remote worker, entrepreneur, freelance or employee from any of the countries exempt from the short-stay visa for Colombia, you are eligible to apply for this visa.
M - Mercosur Visa
Nationals of the States Parties to the "Agreement on Residence for Nationals of the States Parties of Mercosur, Bolivia, and Chile," applying the principle of reciprocity. This visa is equivalent to the Temporary Resident Visa established in said agreement.
V - Working Holiday Visa
The Working holiday Visa in Colombia is open to young applicants from the age 18 to 30 (included), who are nationals of countries with which Colombia has a current working holiday agreement.
M - Parent of a Colombian national by birth Visa
If you are the parent of a Colombian national by birth, you will be eligible to apply for this visa. A person is considered Colombian by birth if one of their parents is Colombian, or if both parents are foreigners, one of them is domiciled in Colombia at the time of birth.
V - Religious student / volunteer Visa
This visa allows its holder to enter and stay in the country as a volunteer or student in religious formation or to carry out theological studies in an institute or organization affiliated with a church or religious denomination duly recognized by the Colombian State.
M - Founder or shareholder Visa
If you incorporate a company in Colombia or buy shares in an existing Colombian company equivalent to at least 100 minimum wages, you can be eligible for this visa.
V - Business Visa
To carry out business activities, market research, direct investment plans or procedures, and the establishment of a commercial company, negotiation, contract signing, or commercial representation. This visa is intended for foreigners of nationalities that are not exempt from a visa for short visits, as established by Resolution, or those who, despite being exempt from a short-duration visa, require a longer stay in the country.
M - Retirement Visa
You are eligible for this visa if you receive a monthly pension from your home country's government amounting to at least $4,270,500 Colombian Pesos (COP) per month (2024).
R - Accumulated time in Colombia Visa
If you have held one or more Migrant (M) visas for the legally required duration, you may apply for a Resident visa based on accumulated time.
V - Seasonal agricultural worker Visa
This visa allows its holder to perform seasonal agricultural tasks under programs established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, or by the Regional Government authorities in coordination with the agricultural sector, the Ministry of Labor, and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. These programs will specify the estimated available quotas and the specific tasks that require labor support.
R - By Colombian nationality renounce Visa
For foreigners who, having been Colombian citizens by birth or adoption, renounced their Colombian nationality.
V - Journalistic coverage Visa

For nationals of any of the States Parties of the "Andean Migratory Statute," applying the principle of reciprocity.
V - Rentier (Annuity) Visa
If you receive a periodic and variable income from a legal source and are able to demonstrate it, you are eligible for this visa. For example, if you have properties rented and receive monthly a rent, you can apply for this visa.
M - Investment Visa

This visa is granted for specific treatments, prioritizing those of a specific duration that are part of the exportable medical services offered to foreigners.
V - Events Visa
This visa allows its holder to attend conventions and business, cultural, or academic activities as a speaker, exhibitor, participant, artist, athlete, judge, contestant, organizer, or logistics personnel.
